We'll chit chat for a few minutes, then do timed writing sprints for 15 minutes, taking 5 minute breaks in between, to chat.
Tech Stuff
The video hangouts work best if you have a video camera and microphone on your device and the Zoom.us app already downloaded on your computer (and yes, you can get the Zoom app for smart phones and tablets, and it works great, or you can join via a web brower too. I'll send you a link).
You’ll enter with your video and audio on, but you can mute yourself and turn off your camera until you feel comfortable if that’s your speed. There’s a chat box so you will still be able to communicate with us! But I do encourage you to take a deep breath and plunge in, camera and audio on. We are all pretty normal folks, fighting our own hangups to be there ;)
Headphones, with a microphone built in, work well for reducing echo and feedback, but are not essential.
If you’re working on a laptop, it’s a good idea to mute your audio during sprints, so that we don’t all have to listen to fourteen people typing.
Privacy Stuff
The video hangouts (unlike workshops) are not recorded or archived in the Superstars member area. They are simple live events.
