PROBLEM 2: Isn’t the CEO the Board’s representative?
Well yes, but culture starts at the top and if you’re on the Board you are at the top and should be demonstrating actively what a success culture is. You need to know what’s really going on from your front line all the way up.
You will see Board members doing more site visits and asking for more real time ‘pulse’ results.
